Tazkiyah al-Nafs (Purification of the Soul)
Core Idea: Sufism emphasizes tazkiyah, or the purification of the inner self from negative traits like arrogance, greed, envy, and hypocrisy.
Impact on Faith: By removing these spiritual diseases, a person’s intention and devotion become sincere (ikhlas), leading to a purer, more genuine faith.
Dhikr (Remembrance of God)

Sohbah (Spiritual Companionship)

Asceticism (Zuhd)
Sufis often live simple, detached lives to avoid the corrupting influence of materialism.
Faith Outcome: This leads to sincere reliance on God (tawakkul), freeing the soul from worldly attachments that can dilute faith.
Love (Ishq) for God
Sufism nurtures a profound love for God that transcends formal worship, turning religion into a deeply personal and emotional connection.
